How we protect your data

We ensure that your data is protected through the website by utilising HTTPS communication between the server and any devices that connect to the site.

All transaction information passed between merchant sites and Stripe’s systems is encrypted using AES-256 bit encryption. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to your servers from Stripe are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely assured that nothing you pass to Stripe’s servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information. For more information, you can read their data security policy here.

What data breach procedures we have in place

If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
