Dear Maysie,
We are excited to share some lovely news with you β we have officially launched our brand-new website! It is something we have been working on behind the scenes for a while, and we are so pleased to finally share it with everyone. The new site makes it easier to browse our wild bird seed range, keep up with what is happening in the shop, and stay connected with our little community.
Speaking of the shop, it has been wonderfully busy lately. We have had lots of visitors popping in to browse our gifts, and plenty of coffee and cake has been enjoyed too! It is always so nice to see familiar faces and meet new customers who stop by for a chat, a treat, or a special gift. Our customers are really missing your waggy tail and lots of fuss!
We have also been getting involved in a couple of brilliant national events. Recently, we took part in the Big Garden Birdwatch, which is always a lovely way to pause and appreciate the wildlife around us. It is amazing how many birds you can spot when you take a little time to watch and listen.
We also joined in with National Nest Box Week, helping to raise awareness about supporting birds during nesting season. It is such an important time of year for wildlife, and small actions like putting up nest boxes can make a real difference.
We wanted to also share a little about the Mental Health in Farming Campaign that we are working on ongoingly!
Farming can be an incredibly rewarding way of life as you know, but it also comes with many pressures. Long hours, financial uncertainty, isolation, and unpredictable weather can all take a toll on a farmerβs wellbeing. Unfortunately, mental health is still something that is not talked about enough in the farming community.
Our campaign aims to change that. We want to raise awareness about the importance of mental health in farming, encourage open conversations, and remind farmers that they are not alone. By sharing information, resources, and real stories, we hope to break the stigma and help people feel more comfortable seeking support when they need it.
Through this campaign, we are also working to highlight the value of community β checking in on neighbours, supporting one another, and creating spaces where farmers can talk openly about the challenges they face.
Mental health matters just as much as physical health, and by bringing this conversation into the open, we hope to make a positive difference within the farming community.
Thank you for being part of our journey, Maysie. Looking forward to sharing more updates, events, and stories with you soon.
Lots of Love
